New Equine Veterinary Advisor
OBET Solutions is pleased to welcome Dr. Stephanie Huebner DVM as Equine Veterinary Advisor.
Dr. Stephanie came onboard after monitoring condition, performing examinations, and providing xrays for the OBET soft tissue pilot study and OCD study.
Born and raised in central Ohio, Dr. Stephanie’s love for horses started at a young age. Spending summers at racetracks around the state and learning from her grandfather how to groom, jog, and train Standardbred racehorses, her passion took her to Ohio’s Otterbein University, where she pursued a degree in Equine Business and Facility Management. Stephanie then attended the Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine and graduated as a member of the class of 2020, which included a 4 week internship in Clevedon New Zealand with a standardbred breeding farm and local equine veterinary clinic.
Her curiosity and love for the sport led her to Hanover Pennsylvania to work as a farm veterinarian at Hanover Shoe Farms, the leading breeding farm for harness racing in the U.S. Fourteen months later, Stephanie returned to her hom state and has worked as an equine and small animal veterinarian. Stephanie’s current veterinary passions include neonatal and internal medicine, equine sports medicine and reproduction. In her spare time, Stephanie enjoys watching prime time crime and medical dramas, rooting for the Buckeyes and Bengals, and following horse racing. She also loves cuddling with her many dogs and cats.
